10 years on and the launch of the "all new" printed Africa Adventure Travel Directory 2008/2009!

1998 saw Apple Computers present the iMac, the President Clinton / Monica Lewinsky scandal broke, Titanic (the film), won 11 oscars at the Academy Awards ceremony, the TRC presented their report, the average oil price was US$ 11.91 a barrel (now US$ 112 a barrel) and Africa Adventure was born!

Fast forward to 2008, Africa Adventure is 10 years old and bigger and better than ever with a multitude of exciting events on the horizon, thus giving everyone involved with us many excellent opportunities.

With all this in mind, it is with great excitement that the all new printed Africa Adventure Travel Directory 2008/2009 will be ready to launch at INDABA 2008 .

Our indispensable publication has taken on a new look which is designed to offer visitors more travelling choices in Southern and East Africa, than ever before. The new DL size directory is easier for the tourist to carry at all times, more user friendly and ensures higher exposure to our members, more butts in beds, more mouths to feed, more seats booked on tours – the list is endless!

Our sincere thanks go out to you all, especially those who, through placing additional advertisements, have enabled us to maintain the high standard of professionalism Africa Adventure is famous for.

If you would like us to send you copies of the printed Africa Adventure Travel Directory 2008/2009, please let us know and we will send them off to you in the shortest time possible.

INDABA 2008 and Mitsubishi Africa Adventure Cape to Cape Expedition

All eyes in the Tourism Industry are now on INDABA 2008 being held in Durban from 10-13 May 2008!

Africa Adventure is thrilled to be representing our members at this showcase of Southern African tourism products for the 8th year running and as we celebrate a decade of promoting tourism in Africa we are giving away 10 one year memberships of Africa Adventure worth R 4,950 each.

All you have to do is to visit us at INDABA 2008, stand C006 in ICC and enter our lucky draw with your details.

It is also the official inauguration of the Mitsubishi Africa Adventure Cape to Cape Expedition.

From Cape Agulhas, where two great oceans meet, to North Cape in Norway, where the sun shines at midnight, an incredible journey awaits 16 amazing women.

The intrepid ambassadors for African tourism have formed an all female team, who will travel 35,000km ‘Cape to Cape', from the tip of Africa to the top of Europe.

These women encapsulate the Africa Adventure experience and are passionate about promoting responsible tourism development in Africa. So after travelling through Africa, the Cape to Cape team will promote tourism in our amazing continent at road-shows throughout Europe.

Meet with us at our stand C006 in ICC and find out how you can showcase your products and services through the Mitsubishi Africa Adventure Cape to Cape Expedition.
